At E3 Sony Left the Vita Out In The Cold

Sony hit a homerun during their E3 conference with the heavy hitter PS4 but it seems like the Vita was left warming the benches.

These are some of the games that were highlighted for Vita:

-God of War HD Collection
-Final Fantasy X & X2
-Dead Nation
-Flower
-The Walking Dead
-Batman: Arkham Origins
-Killzone: mercenary

So let's see, 2 PS2 games, 3 PSN games, a multi-platform game, and the one exclusive.
The PSN games are amazing titles, but we've played them before and they're not exactly system sellers.

Hopefully Killzone: Mercenary is a quality title and corrects the mediocrity that Resistance: Burning Skies and COD: Declassified shaped up to be.

During their conference Sony failed to introduce any new AAA project and surprisingly ignored one of the most compelling titles coming to Vita this year, Dragon's Crown.

  1. This may be pre-E3 but let's not forget the ability to stream Ps4 content to the Vita!

I will agree that the Vita was lacking in some AAA announcements but there is a surge of Indie games hitting the platform - many that originated on PC and should be a welcome addition for on-the-go!
